Blairgowrie Beach House
Completed 2009
This project was on a very difficult and tight site just meters from the Yacht Club in Blairgowrie. Entry from the road was 5m above the block with an impossible slope for a driveway. |
The home has huge spaces for living with 3m high bi-fold windows opening up on the pool and entertaining areas. Despite being close to the boundaries a feeling of total privacy is achieved with the use of louvers and cedar screens. The outdoor area includes built in external cabinets with extensive stone tops and built in BBQ. The Bedrooms are all extremely generous with gorgeous bathrooms and the Master bedroom looked out over the pool |
|
The luxury of the home was further enhanced with the use of Fumed American Oak floors that matched the American Oak veneers in the bathrooms and kitchen detailing. The kitchen had masses of cabinets all the way up to the 3.00 high ceilings. |
The driveway to the house was particularly difficult as it had to span from the road to the raised garage. The end result is a spectacular modern family home in one of Mornington Peninsulas’ premier locations. |
